USA and PWHPA alumni Jocelyne Lamoureux and Monique Lamoureaux were called out this week for liking, following, and sharing transphobic posts online.

Jocelyne Lamoureux and Monique Lamoureux were recently inducted to the US Hockey Hall of Fame, but the duo are now facing online backlash for liking and following a variety of accounts supporting transphobic hate.
One of those accounts followed by the Lamoureux sisters' combined Twitter account is called "Gays Against Groomers," which states the organization is "against the sexualization, indoctrination and medicalization of children under the guise of LGBTQIA+"
When you go into Tweets liked by the Lamoureux's account, several Tweets "liked" by the sisters feature transphobic language, particularly targeting the inclusion of transgender women in sport.

Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson is currently a member of the PWHPA board,
The duo last played int he PWHPA in 2020-2021 and most recently represented Team USA at the 2018 Olympics.
Screenshots of the likes and follows from Instagram, as well as posts shared by the sisters started surfacing online this week, calling into question their issues of equity. The duo published a book called Dare to Make History, which includes the conversation of the "struggle for gender equity, for women in hockey and in sports in general, as well as in society at large."
Neither Jocelyne or Monique Lamoureux, nor the PHWPA has made a public statement on the issue since the likes, follows, and shares of transphobic posts emerged.
