The Montreal Victoire have secured a key piece of their blueline and Walter Cup winning roster signing Maggie Flaherty. Maggie Flaherty highlights The Lakeville, Minnesota product joined the Montreal Victoire this offseason as a free agent signing recording nine points in 30 games. She stepped up her production significantly in the playoffs as one of Montreal's best players recording four points in nine games for the Victoire. Flaherty average 18:30 time on ice during the regular season but played more than that in every game during the playoffs for the Victoire, including more than 22 minutes per game in the Walter Cup finals against Ottawa. Montreal protected forwards Marie Philip-Poulin and Laura Stacey in the opening round of PWHL expansion, along with netminder Ann-Renee Desbiens. The Victoire have lost Nicole Gosling (Hamilton), Erin Ambrose (Las Vegas), and Hayley Scamurra (Las Vegas) in expansion.
