She can also transport the puck from her own zone, or jump into the rush. Playing for Lulea this season in the SDHL, Savolainen scored 11 goals and 29 points in 35 games. With five World Championship and two Olympic medals, Savolainen is a seasoned veteran, and will be one of the first players off the board at the 2024 PWHL Draft. With her unique combination of skills, Savolainen will be used in all special team circumstances, and often can be found playing a net front or the bumper position on the powerplay.
