Friday night was alright for hockey, as the Bears and Wranglers continued their league dominance, Adam Gaudette increased his goal-scoring league, and a rare goalie goal from an NHL veteran made history.

The Calgary Wranglers (moving to a league-best 11-1-1) and Hershey Bears (11-4) continued their dominance of their respective conferences, each tied with the lead league with 11 wins on the season following successful outings last night.
Veteran Adam Gaudette continued to prove he has the hottest stick in the AHL, netting his 12th and 13th goal in a 2-1 win for the Thunderbirds over the Comets.
And finally, an elusive and record-setting goalie goal from NHL vet Alex Nedeljkovic sealed the win for the WBS Penguins over the Providence Bruins.
Ned's empty netter, which propelled the Pens to a 4-2 win over the Bruins, was his second career goal in the AHL, making him the first and only goalie in the league to score two career goals.
