Both teams clinched their post-season berth on Friday.

The post-season dance card is filling out, as the Providence Bruins and Colorado Eagles have both earned a Calder Cup playoff berth. The clubs join the already locked in teams of Hershey, Coachella Valley, Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, Ontario and Tucson.

The Bruins, second in the Atlantic with a 38-18-4-3 record and 83 points, moved past the Utica Comets 7-4 on Friday to earn their playoff spot. Providence fell to the Hartford Wolf Pack in four games in the division semifinals in 2022-23.

The Eagles, currently fourth in the Pacific with a 35-19-5-2 record and 77 points, earned a point in a 2-1 OT loss to Abbotsford on Friday to qualify. Colorado swept the Ontario Reign in the opening round last year before dropping a five game series to Coachella Valley, who'd go on to lose a game seven series against the Hershey Bears in the Calder Cup finals.

Today, the Calgary Wranglers can clinch a playoff berth with a San Diego loss, while the Bakersfield Condors are playoff bound dependent on their matchup against Ontario and the outcomes of the San Diego/Tucson and Henderson/Coachella Valley matchups.
