We look at your points, goals, and goaltending leaders through 17 days of play across the 2023-24 American Hockey League Season.

We've crossed into the third week of AHL action, and already we're beginning to see some of the breakout players and point producers through 17 days of play.

Here's a quick look at the players piling up the points and wins through the young 2023-24 AHL season. 

Clutch Canucks

Leading the league in points we have a two-way tie between Abbotsford teammates Christian Wolanin and Arshdeep Bains with 13 points apiece in eight games.

Rounding out the top five are San Jose's Daniel Gushchin and Laval's Joshua Roy with 12 points in seven games and Hartford's Jonny Brodzinski with six goals and 11 points. 

Gaudette's Goal Streak

National Hockey League veteran of over 200 games, Adam Gaudette is flourishing in his second go-round with the Springfield Thunderbirds. 

The 27-year-old center has 11 points and a whopping nine goals in only eight games, leading all goal scorers for the young season.

Following close behind with seven goals in as many games are Laval's Lias Andersson, while Hatford's Jonny Brodzinski, Colorado's Riley Tufte, Lehigh Valley's Olle Lycksell and Rochester's Jiri Kulich have all potted six. 

Golden Goalies

In the net, Tucson's Matthew Villalta leads all goaltenders with 160 saves in only 174 shots against for a healthy 2.36 GAA and .920 save percentage.

Close behind is NHL veteran David Rittich of the Ontario Reign with an even stronger 2.23 GAA and .931 save percentage in only five games.

Belleville's Mads Sogaard (1.73 GAA and .944 save percentage, 1 shutout in five games), Springfield's Vadim Zherenko (2.25 GAA, .937 save percentage), and Coachella Valley's Chris Driedger (1.52 GAA, .948 save percentage, 1 shutout in four games), have all carried the crease for their respective clubs.
