The puck drop on the regular season begins Oct. 11

The AHL announced the start date and schedule for the 2024-25 preseason Wednesday.

Lasting for a total of six days, the official start date is set for Oct. 1.

The opening night has one game on the docket - Wilkes-Barre/Scranton vs. Lehigh Valley.

With the preseason wrapping up on Oct. 6, the last night of the schedule will see four games played: Toronto/Belleville, Rochester/Syracuse, Lehigh Valley/Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Bakersfield/San Jose.

The official start date for the 2024-25 regular season is Oct. 11.

With the Hershey Bears entering the season as back to back Calder Cup champions, it will be a great season to watch simply for the storylines themselves.
