Bakersfield Condors defenseman Connor Corcoran has signed a one-year deal in Austria with EC Salzburg, it was announced last week.

Corcoran, a 2018 fifth round pick of the Vegas Golden Knights, split time this year between the Condors and the ECHL's Fort Wayne Komets. Over 18 ECHL games, Corcoran put up three goals and seven assists for 10 points while collecting 10 points in 44 AHL games.

Having made the jump to the pro game in 2020, Corcoran got into 74 career AHL regular season games with the Condors and the Henderson Silver Knights, scoring nine goals and adding 14 assists for 23 points. Prior to that, he spent four seasons in the OHL with the Windsor Spitfires.

As Corcoran heads for Austria and the ICEHL, he will factor heavily into EC Salzburg's plans. Still very much a capable contributor at both ends of the ice, Corcoran will likely log heavy ice time in all situations for his new team.
