Griffith led the Condors in points last season with 63

The Bakersfield Condors have re-signed forward Seth Griffith to a two-year extension, the team announced this past week.

Griffith, a product of Wallaceburg, Ont., just wrapped up his fourth season with the Condors where he scored 15 goals and added 48 assists for 63 points in 68 games. Griffith added two more points in two playoff games.

A 2012 fifth round pick by the Boston Bruins, Griffith spent three seasons in the Bruins organization before being claimed on waivers by the Leafs.

Over the course of his 11-year professional career, Griffith has played in 80 NHL games, scoring eight goals and adding 11 assists for 19 points..

In 619 career AHL games, Griffith has 190 goals and 382 assists for 572 points. His best output during his time in the AHL came in 2015-16 with the Providence Bruins when he had 77 points in 57 games (1.35 points-per-game).

A go-to player for the Condors, Griffith is certainly deserving of his extension. While he hasn't seen the NHL since 2021-22, he has become of the most consistent AHL players and can be relied upon to put up almost a point-per-game consistently over the course of a season.
