Hall spent time in both the AHL and ECHL in 2023-24
The Cleveland Monsters have signed forward Curtis Hall to a one-year deal, the team announced Monday.
Drafted by the Boston Bruins in the fourth round of the 2018 NHL Draft, Hall split this past season between the Providence Bruins, Grand Rapids Griffins and Maine Mariners (ECHL). In 11 games with Providence, Hall had six points. In the same amount of games with the Griffins, he was held pointless.
Spending the most time with the Mariners this past season, Hall had 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points in 22 regular season games.
A product of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Hall has seen 124 career AHL regular season games since turning pro in 2020-21, collecting 16 points in the process.
As Hall joins Cleveland for the 2024-25 campaign, he will have to prove himself to earn a spot out of camp. While Hall had his best AHL stint in Providence last season, he has struggled to produce in the past. If he struggles out of the gates, Hall may find himself spending time in the ECHL.
