The Cleveland Monsters have signed forward Ryland Mosley to an amateur try-out, it was announced Tuesday.
A product of Arnprior, Ont., Mosley spent this season playing for the Wisconsin Badgers, collecting 18 goals and 19 assists for 37 points in 37 games. Across five seasons in the NCAA, four of which he spent at Michigan Tech, Mosley scored 54 goals and added 62 assists for 116 points in 165 career games.
Before making his way to join the Huskies, Mosley played his junior hockey with the Carleton Place Canadians (CCHL), accumulating 129 points in 127 career regular season games.
With Mosley inking an ATO with the Monsters, he could have a strong shot at earning himself a contract with the team. Mosley routinely showed off his puck skills with the Badgers this past season and should be able to produce at the AHL level.
