Ivan appeared in two games with the Avalanche, including making his NHL debut

The Colorado Avalanche have assigned forward Ivan Ivan to the Colorado Eagles, the team announced Monday.
A product of Ostrava, Czechia, Ivan appeared in two games with the Avalanche, making his NHL debut and collecting an assist. Having gone undrafted, Ivan joined the Avalanche organization last season and collected 31 points in 67 games with the Eagles.
Prior to making to jump to the North American pro game, Ivan played junior and pro hockey in Czechia and with the QMJHL's Cape Breton Eagles.
As Ivan gets set to re-join the Eagles, he will likely slot into in a top-six role right off the hop. He has proven to be a dangerous player with the puck at the AHL level and will be looked upon as a call-up option if the Avs are hit with injuries.
