The Colorado Eagles have signed forwards Tye Felhaber and Keaton Mastrodonato as well as defenseman Bryan Yoon to one-year deals, the team announced Monday.
Hailing from Pembroke, Ont., Felhaber spent the 2023-24 season with the Milwaukee Admirals. In 50 regular season games, he scored 10 goals and added 13 assists for 23 points.
Felhaber has played in 164 regular season AHL games across his pro career and has registered 54 points.
A product of Powell River, B.C., Mastrodonato joins the Eagles after splitting time with the Texas Stars and Idaho Steelheads (ECHL) last season. With Texas, Mastrodonato had four goals in 19 games. In Idaho, he scored 24 goals and added 18 assists for 42 points in 48 regular season games.
Before turning pro at the end of the 2022-23 season, Mastrodonato played four years of NCAA hockey at Canisius College.
The final signing for the Eagles, Yoon joins the team after spending time with the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) and the Hartford Wolf Pack in 2023-24. With Utah, Yoon collected three goals and 14 assists for 17 points in 35 regular season games. In Hartford, he scored two goals in 18 games.
Prior to turning pro last season, Yoon played five years in the NCAA with Colorado College.
As all three players head to Colorado, the Eagles could have potentially added three contributors to their lineup for the upcoming season. While Yoon and Mastrodonato spent time in the ECHL last season, they proved to be productive at the AHL level and could very well factor into the lineup every night. Felhaber proved he could contribute consistently as well and should spent the entire year with the team.
