The Dallas Stars have assigned goaltender Ben Kraws to the Texas Stars, it was announced Saturday.

Kraws, who hails from Cranbury, N.J., is in his first full season with the Stars organization, having split time between Texas and the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads this year. In three AHL appearances, Kraws has a record of 2-1-0 to go along with a 3.01 GAA and a .889 SP. Across 27 ECHL games, he has posted a 17-6-4 record, a GAA of 3.13 and a .904 SP.

Prior to turning pro at the end of the 2023-24 season, Kraws played five seasons in the NCAA with Miami (Ohio), Arizona State and St. Lawrence. Over 89 career appearances, Kraws had a 2.98 GAA and a .906 SP.

Although Kraws is new to the pro game, he has shown a strong ability to adapt quickly. As someone who tracks the puck well through traffic and displays strong athleticism, Kraws has the tools needed to make the jump to the AHL in the near future.
