Katic spent the 2023-24 season with the Norfolk Admirals

The Chicago Wolves has signed forward Danny Katic to a one-year deal, it was announced this past week.

A product of Porcupine, Ont., Katic spent this past season suiting up for the Norfolk Admirals (ECHL), collecting 24 goals and 26 assists for 50 points in 60 regular season games. He also saw 12 playoff games with the team, putting up 10 points.

Katic has played in two full seasons since turning pro, both with the Admirals - scoring 42 goals and adding 48 assists for 90 points in 127 regular season games.

Prior to turning pro, Katic played in parts of four OHL seasons, all with the Saginaw Spirit and one season at the University of Toronto (U Sports).

As Katic joins the Wolves, he will have the opportunity to take the next step in his career. Over the past two seasons, he has proven to be an offensive difference maker at the ECHL level and should challenge for consistent AHL minutes in 2024-25.
