Defenseman Steven Santini has been recalled by the Tampa Bay Lightning from their AHL affiliate team, the Syracuse Crunch. 

The 31-year-old has skated in nine games with the Bolts this season, recording one assist and a plus-1 rating. The Bronxville, New York native blueliner has appeared in 133 career NHL games between the New Jersey Devils, Nashville Predators, St. Louis Blues and Lightning, recording 24 points (5G, 19A) and a minus-7 rating.

Santini has appeared in 32 games as captain of Syracuse this season, putting up six assists and a plus-10 rating. The former 2013 Draft 43rd overall pick of the New Jersey Devils has played in 393 career AHL games with the Albany Devils, Binghamton Devils, Milwaukee Admirals, Utica Comets, Springfield Thunderbirds, Ontario Reign and Crunch, recording 93 points (21G, 72A) with a plus-66 rating.
