    The 22-year-old second rounder in 2020 has played 18 games in two seasons with the AHL's Laval Rocket ahead of Thursday's debut.

    Emil Heineman is set to make his National Hockey League debut.

    The 43rd overall draft selection by the Habs in 2020 will reportedly suit up for Montreal when the club takes on the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. 

    Martin St-Louis confirmed the news ahead of tonight's contest.

    The 22-year-old Swede split last season between Leksands IF of the SweHL and the AHL's Laval Rocket, where he put up eight goals and 15 points in 35 games.

    In seven games with Laval this season, the winger has put up a goal and four points.
