Forward Igor Chernyshov has been recalled by the San Jose Sharks from their AHL affiliate team, the San Jose Barracuda.

The 20-year-old is already the third of the five post-deadline standard recalls the San Jose Sharks can make, joining defensemen Nolan Allan and Nick Leddy.

The 2024 Draft 33rd overall pick has split his time between the NHL and AHL this season, recording 11 points (3G, 8A) in 15 games with the Sharks and 33 points (13G, 20A) in 41 games with the Barracuda. His 33 points are tied for eighth amongst rookies.
