Forward Milton Gastrin has been reassigned by the Washington Capitals to their AHL affiliate team, the Hershey Bears.

The 2025 Draft Capitals second-rounder recorded 24 points (10G, 14A) in 39 regular season games with MoDo of HockeyAllsvenskan, Sweden's second-highest tier of professional hockey. He ranked second amongst all U19 skaters in the league in goals, assists and points.

The 18-year-old has also played eight games in the SHL (also with MoDo), Sweden's top tier league of pro hockey in 2024-25.

This past winter, he was part of the Sweden team that won the 2026 World Juniors.
