Fellow goaltender Clay Stevenson was loaned to the Bears in a corresponding transaction.
Bjorklund will play back-up to Logan Thompson when the season resumes after the Olympic-break as Charlie Lindgren is currently on injured reserve due to a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old Bjorklund is yet to make his NHL debut.
