Bliss joins the Griffins after starting the season with the ECHL's Toledo Walleye

The Grand Rapids Griffins have signed forward Trenton Bliss to a professional try-out, the team announced Wednesday.

Bliss, a product of Dallas, Texas, started the season with the ECHL's Toledo Walleye where he scored four goals and added three assists for seven points in five games.

Since turning pro at the end of the 2021-22 season, Bliss has split his time between the Walleye and the Griffins. Over 35 career AHL regular season games, he has collected one goal and five points.

Prior to making the jump to the pro game, Bliss played four seasons at Michigan Tech, putting up 107 points in 138 career NCAA games.

As Bliss joins the Griffins again, he brings a familiar face to the lineup along with the ability to play a depth role for the team.
