The Grand Rapids Griffins beat the Manitoba Moose 2-1 to level the Central Division Semifinals 1-1 in the 2026 Calder Cup Playoffs.

Manitoba outshot Grand Rapids 13-9 until the 15:14 mark of the first period. At that point, the Moose committed a penalty and put the Griffins in their second power play where forward Michael Brandsegg-Nygard cashed in with the game-winner on the third shot of the man-advantage, giving Grand Rapids the 1-0 lead into the first break.

The first period was the only time where Manitoba outshot Grand Rapids.

But then, the Moose could not figure out the Griffins' defense to mount a comeback as Grand Rapids outshot them 11-8 in each of the last two periods, eventually pocketing the insurance goal by defenseman William Walllinder.

Griffins goalie Michal Postava registered a 30-save shutout.

Moose goalie Domenic DiVincentiis made 32 saves off 34 shots for a save percentage of 0.941
