Nelson accomplished the marker as his Bears toppled the Wolf Pack 2-1 in a shootout in Saturday.
The legendary Roy Sommer leads the field with a league best 828 wins.
The 2023-24 Bears have a league best record of 47-12-0-5 with 99 points.
