The Hershey Bears have re-signed goaltender Seth Eisele to a one-year deal, it was announced Thursday.

Hailing from Lake Elmo, Minn., Eisele split time last season between the Bears and the ECHL's South Carolina Stingrays, appearing in one AHL game and 31 ECHL regular season games. Although he posted a save percentage of .800 in his one game with Hershey, Eisele went 19-10-1 along with a 2.30 goals-against average and a .914 SP with the Stingrays.

Before turning pro last year, Eisele spent four years playing in the NCAA with Lake Superior State and Nebraska Omaha. In 42 career games, Eisele posted a stat line of 18-17-1, a 2.67 GAA and a .913 SP.

Having found success in his first season of professional hockey, Eisele has a strong chance to see a bigger role with Hershey this year. If he can impress and stay consistent in his AHL minutes, Eisele could potentially be someone the Washington Capitals look at down the line.
