The Hershey Bears have advanced to their second straight Eastern Conference Finals after sweeping the Hartford Wolf Pack in three games. 

Having entered the Calder Cup Playoffs on a first round bye, Hershey has only lost one game through two rounds so far. 

With the Atlantic Division Finals beginning on May 16, the Bears came out and won Game 1 in a convincing 6-1 fashion. Henrik Rybinski led the way with two points while the Bears saw all six goals come off the sticks of different players. Hartford finished Game 1 with only 14 shots on goal.

In Game 2, Hershey came out of the gates and took an early lead with Ivan Miroshnichenko scoring 2:50 into the first period. He added another one in the second to put the Bears up 2-0 entering the third period. 

By the 10 minute mark of the third period, Hershey had extended their lead to four goals (thanks to markers by Ethen Frank and Hendrix Lapierre). While the Wolf Pack scored two goals with less than five minutes to go, it was too late and the Bears took Game 2 by a score of 4-2. 

With Game 3 taking place yesterday, the Wolf Pack entered the game knowing it was do or die. 

Jaroslav Chmelar scored first for the Wolf Pack 13 minutes into the frame and they entered the intermission with the lead. 

Although it seemed like the Wolf Pack had finally gained a little momentum, the Bears scored less than two minutes into the second with a goal off the stick of Garrett Roe. Roe added another one six minutes later to make it a 2-1 lead for Hershey.

The Bears would go on to add two more goals in the third period, putting the game out of reach and ending the Wolf Pack's season. 

Hershey is scheduled to take on the Cleveland Monsters in the Eastern Conference Finals with Game 1 scheduled for May 30.
