Turcotte split this past season between the Kings and the Ontario Reign

The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed forward Alex Turcotte to a three-year extension, the team announced Saturday.

The deal will see Turcotte make $775,000 at the NHL level in each year of his contract.

A native of Elk Grove, Ill., Turcotte split this past season between the Kings and the Ontario Reign. In 20 regular season games with the Kings, Turcotte had one goal and three assists for four points. With the Reign, he scored 10 goals and added 19 assists for 29 points in 35 regular season games.

Turcotte also saw postseason action with the Reign, collecting four points in eight games.

Drafted by the Kings fifth overall in the 2019 NHL Draft, Turcotte has dealt with his fair share of injuries in the past. When he is healthy, Turcotte has proven he can be a difference maker and if he can stay on the ice, he has a strong chance to be a full time NHL player next year.
