The Manitoba Moose have signed forward Jaydon Dureau to a one-year deal, it was announced Tuesday.

Dureau, a 2020 fifth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Lightning, split the 2024-25 season between the Syracuse Crunch and the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears. While he collected a goal and three points in 16 AHL games, Dureau scored 14 goals and added 15 assists for 29 points in 33 ECHL regular season games.

Having turned pro full time in 2022, Dureau has appeared in 36 AHL regular season games over the course of his career, putting up three goals and seven points. Dureau played his junior hockey for the SJHL's Melville Millionaires and the WHL's Portland Winterhawks.

With Dureau heading to join the Moose, it is officially the end of his time in the Lightning organization. While he was never able to establish himself in Syracuse, he has gotten valuable experience under his belt as he begins a fresh start in Manitoba.
