Milwaukee Admirals defenseman Jake Livingstone has been suspended for one game due to a kneeing incident, the AHL announced Monday.

The incident occurred during the Admirals game against the Rockford IceHogs on Saturday and as a result of his actions, Livingstone will miss Game 3 on Wednesday.

A product of Creston, B.C., Livingstone is in his second full pro season, having scored seven goals and added nine assists for 16 points in 59 regular season games. Through two playoff games with Milwaukee, Livingstone has gone pointless.

Signed as an undrafted free agent, Livingstone has appeared in five career NHL games with the Nashville Predators, putting up one assist. Before making the transition to the pro game, he played three seasons in the NCAA with Minnesota State - Mankato.

With Livingstone missing a crucial game, the other Admirals defensemen will have to step up their game. While not relied upon to contribute offensively, Livingstone is more than capable of handling his own as well as making an impact in his own end.
