Cal O'Reilly and Marc Del Gaizo will serve as alternates

The Milwaukee Admirals announced this past week that Kevin Gravel will serve as captain for the 2024-25 season. Cal O'Reilly and Marc Del Gaizo will serve as alternates.

Drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Draft, Gravel served as captain of the Admirals last season as well. Having been with the team since 2022, Gravel has three goals and 20 assists for 23 points in 114 regular season games. 

Over parts of six NHL seasons, Gravel has collected one goal and 13 assists for 14 points in 132 career NHL regular season games. 

A product of Toronto, Ont., O'Reilly has spent parts of six seasons with the Admirals over the course of his career. In 69 regular season games last year, he put up 10 goals and 30 points. 

Rounding out the list, this will be Del Gaizo's first time wearing a letter during his pro career (he wore an 'A' for UMass in 2020-21). Over 209 career AHL regular season games, Del Gaizo has collected 17 goals and 72 assists for 89 points. 

Already two games into their 2024-25 campaign, the Admirals currently sit at 1-1. Their next game comes Friday when they head to Rockford to take on the IceHogs.
