The Predators were eliminated from the playoffs last night at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks
The Nashville Predators have re-assigned forward Jusso Parssinen, defenseman Kevin Gravel and goaltender Gustavs Grigals to Milwaukee, it was announced Saturday.
After taking on the Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the NHL playoffs, the Predators were eliminated in Game 6 last night.
With the Admirals taking on the Texas Stars in the second round of the Calder Cup playoffs, they get solid reinforcements to try and even the series at one.
Parssinen split the season between the Predators and the Admirals, where he had 12 points in 44 games with the Preds and 25 points in 36 games for the Admirals. Parssinen saw one game during the playoffs where he was held pointless.
Gravel spent the entire season with the Admirals, where he had one goal and 10 points in 63 games. Grigals, who spent the majority of the season with the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL, saw one game of action with the Admirals - posting an .846 SV% and a 4.12 GAA.
In 34 gamed with the Gladiators, Grigals posted a record of 11-19-0 to go along with a 3.44 GAA and a .900 SV%.
With Game 2 scheduled for tonight, the additions of Gravel and Parssinen will be key for the Admirals. Parssinen has proven he is dynamic with the puck and the Stars' defenders will have to watch him when he is on the ice.
While he may not be relied upon for points, Gravel is captain of the team and is an important voice in the room that can help turn the series around.
