    The Wolf Pack were recently swept by the Hershey Bears in the third round of the Calder Cup Playoffs

    The New York Rangers have recalled 13 players from the Hartford Wolf Pack, the team announced Saturday. 

    The players recalled include forwards Alex Belzile, Brett Berard, Anton Blidh, Jake Leschyshyn, Brennan Othmann, Tyler Pitlick and Adam Sykora as well as defenders Ben Harpur, Connor Mackey, Victor Mancini, Matthew Robertson, Brandon Scanlin and goaltender Dylan Garand. 

    Given the Wolf Pack were eliminated from the Calder Cup Playoffs at the hands of the Hershey Bears, the Rangers were free to call-up a large group of players to practice with the team. 

    Belzile, who just finished his first season with the Wolf Pack, had 50 points in 61 regular season games and added three more in 10 playoff games. 

    Berard, a 2020 fifth-round pick of the Rangers, played his first full professional season this year after spending three years at Providence. In 71 regular season games. he scored 25 goals and added 23 assists for 48 points while collecting six in 10 playoff games. 

    Blidh, who spent his first full season within the Rangers organization this year, saw one game with New York during the regular season where he was held pointless. In 64 regular season games with the Wolf Pack, he had 17 points while scoring two goals in 10 playoff games. 

    Leschyshyn, similar to Blidh, saw one regular season game with the Rangers but did not register a point. In 47 regular season games with the Wolf Pack, he had 19 points and added six in 10 playoff games. 

    Othmann, a 2021 first-round pick of the Rangers, just wrapped up his first professional season since leaving the OHL. In 67 regular season games with the Wolf Pack, he had 49 points while adding a further five in 10 playoff games. Othmann also saw three games with the Rangers but was held pointless.

    Pitlick, who signed with the Rangers in the offseason, spent the majority of the year in the NHL where he had four points in 34 games. While with the Wolf Pack, he put up seven points in 22 regular season games and three in 10 playoff games. 

    Sykora, a 2022 second-round pick of the Rangers, had 23 points in 66 games during the regular season and three assists over 10 games in the playoffs.

    Harpur, who missed the majority of the 2023-24 season after undergoing pectoral surgery in November, only saw seven games with the Wolf Pack before being shut down. 

    Mackey (11 points in 44 games), Mancini (six points in 17 games), Robertson (22 points in 78 games), Scanlin (16 points in 75 games) and Garand (.922 SV% in the playoffs) round out the recalls. 

    Having tied their series at one with the Florida Panthers, the Rangers head to Florida for Game 3 tomorrow afternoon.
