Singleton joins the Reign after spending the 2023-24 season in the Maple Leafs system

The Ontario Reign have signed forward Tate Singleton to a one-year deal, the team announced Wednesday.

A product of West Lebanon, N.H., Singleton split this past season between the Toronto Marlies and Newfoundland Growlers (ECHL). In 12 games with the Marlies, he registered six points. With Newfoundland, Singleton scored 25 goals and added 23 assists for 48 points in 59 regular season games.

Prior to turning pro last season, Singleton spent four years playing at Ohio State (NCAA), putting up 70 points in 140 career games.

With Singleton joining the Reign, he will have a strong opportunity to make the team out of training camp. Singleton proved he could hang at the AHL level last season and should be a contributor for the Reign moving forward.
