Penn State forward Matthew DiMarsico has signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche that begins in 2026-27.

He will be joining the Colorado Eagles on an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

The 22-year-old scored a team-high 18 goals and his 42 points in 37 games were second, just behind projected number one overall pick in this year's draft, Gavin McKenna.

DiMarsico has seen his production rise in each of his three college years at Happy Valley, compiling a total of 100 points (42G, 58A) in 111 games.
