The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Anthony Richard to a two-year, two-way contract, the team announced Tuesday.
The contract will see Richard make $775,000 at the NHL level.
Dratfed by the Nashville Predators in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Draft, Richard spent the 2023-24 season in the Boston Bruins system. In nine games with Boston, Richard had three points. With Providence, he scored 25 goals and added 30 assists for 55 points in 59 regular season games.
Since turning pro at the end of the 2015-16 season, Richard has played in 24 career NHL games, collecting eight points in the process.
As Richard gets set to join the Flyers organization, he comes in as a good depth option for the team. He showed he could produce in his limited games with Boston this past season and is a top-line player when in the AHL.
