The Rochester Americans have signed defenseman Aidan Fulp to a one-year deal, it was announced earlier this week.
Fulp, a product of Westfield, Ind., spent the 2024-25 season with the Bridgeport Islanders, collecting six assists in 31 regular season games. Since turning pro with Bridgeport at the end of the 2022-23 season, Fulp has scored one goal and added 12 assists for 13 points in 84 career games.
Before making the jump to the pro level, Fulp spent his time playing in the NCAA with Western Michigan. Over three seasons with the Broncos, Fulp accumulated four goals and 39 points in 97 games.
With Fulp now joining his second AHL team, he has already established himself as a reliable option for a team in need of defensive depth. If Rochester goes on a deep run in the playoffs, having players like Fulp never hurts given his ability to contribute at both ends of the ice.
