The St. Louis Blues have recalled forward Dalibor Dvorsky from the Springfield Thunderbirds, it was reported Saturday.

Dvorsky, a 2023 first round pick of the Blues, is in his AHL rookie season where he has scored 20 goals and added 23 assists for 43 points in 57 games.

A product of Zvolen, Slovakia, Dvorsky played junior and pro hockey in Sweden and his native country before making his way to North America last year to play for the OHL's Sudbury Wolves. In 52 regular season games, Dvorsky accumulated an impressive 45 goals and 88 points.

Having adapted quickly to North American ice last year allowed Dvorsky to hit the ground running and he has not looked back since. With the Blues scheduled to take on the Nashville Predators Sunday, it looks likely that Dvorsky will take the ice for his NHL debut.
