The white-hot defending Calder Cup champions are outperforming rivals and contemporaries across multiple North American leagues.

The Hershey Bears are far from content to rest on their laurels.

Fresh off a dominant 4-1 victory over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in their first game back from the mini-holiday break last night, the Hershey Bears have a dominant league lead with 50 points and a 25-6 record through 31 games for a remarkable .806 win percentage, dominating opponents with a stellar +39 GF/GA differential in that frame.

The next closest AHL squad? The Cleveland Monsters with a 20-7-1 record for 41 points in 28 games and a healthy .732 win percentage.

The dominance of the defending Calder Cup Champions is such that we can even look beyond the confines of the American Hockey League.

Hershey's .806 win percentage tops all clubs in the AHL, NHL and ECHL as the holiday break draws to a close across North America.

In the National Hockey League the New York Rangers, with 49 points, a 24-8-1 record and a .742 win percentage through 33 games, come closest to matching Hershey's totals, while in the ECHL the Idaho Steelheads, with a fantastic 21-5-0-1 record for 43 points and a .796 win percentage through 27 games, tops the league.

Simply put, the Hershey Bears are a wagon with more than enough steam and potential to repeat as Calder Cup champions and challenge any claim to the idea that the ultimate dynasty in the American Hockey League resides in Bear country.
