Tucson Roadrunners defenseman Peter DiLiberatore has signed a one-year deal in Sweden with Kalmar HC, it was announced late last week.

DiLiberatore, a 2018 sixth-round pick of the Vegas Golden Knights, spent the entire 2024-25 season with Tucson, scoring two goals in 19 regular season games. Over the course of 144 career regular season games with the Roadrunners, Henderson Silver Knights and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, DiLiberatore collected eight goals and 30 assists for 38 points.

Prior to turning pro at the end of the 2020-21 season, DiLiberatore spent three seasons in the NCAA with Quinnipiac, putting up 15 goals and 60 points in 101 games.

With DiLiberatore heading off to the HockeyAllsvenskan (Sweden's second-tier pro league), he will likely factor into a major role with Kalmar HC. Although he has not seen a lot of game time over the last two years (playing in only a combined 56 games), DiLiberatore has proven to be someone who can contribute offensively and he can still likely get back to that point.
