A veteran of over 900 pro games, Chris Terry is the newest captain of the AHL's Chicago Wolves.

Chris Terry, a veteran of 796 career American Hockey League games and another 152 in the National Hockey League, has been named the 16th team captain in Wolves franchise history.
“It’s a tremendous honour with this being an organization that has a very deep history of winning,” Terry said in a statement the Wolves shared on Tuesday. “There have been a lot of captains before me that have won here and paved the way.
"I can’t thank my teammates enough. They put their trust in me and allow me the opportunity to just be who I am and for them and the coaching staff to see that this far into the season makes me extremely thankful.”
Terry, 34, a fifth-round selection of the Carolina Hurricanes in 2007, has suited up for the Hurricanes and Canadiens of the NHL, with AHL stints in Albany, Charlotte, St. John's, Laval, Bridgeport and Grand Rapids before his time with the Wolves.
Through 42 games in his first stint with Chicago, Terry has collected 16 goals and 34 points. He potted 27 goals and 78 points last season in Bridgeport in just 67 games.
