Sens second-rounder in 2020, Tyler Kleven has netted his first ever pro-goal in a dominant performance against Laval on Wednesday

Highly touted Senators blueline prospect Tyler Kleven has netted his first pro-hockey goal.

Kleven, 21, a product of the University of North Dakota, scored a goal and added an assist alongside three shots and a plus-three during Belleville's drubbing of the Laval Rocket on December 6th. Kleven wired one by Laval's Strauss Mann with assists from Max Guenette and Angus Crookshank at 1:31 of the second period.

It was Kleven's first pro-goal and fourth point overall in 11 games with the AHL's Senators.

In 2022-23 Kleven made his pro-debut with Ottawa, netting two assists across eight games with the Big Sens. He's added another assist through five games in the NHL in 2023-24.

The Fargo, North Dakota-born d-man was drafted 44th overall by Ottawa in 2020.
