Zack Ostapchuk, 20, is expected to suit up for Ottawa when they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night. Ostapchuk centered the third line between Ridly Greig and Dominik Kubalik during Tuesday's practice.
A second round draft selection of the Senators in 2021, Ostapchuk divided his junior career in the WHL between the Vancouver Giants and Winnipeg Ice, putting up 21 goals and 38 points in 34 games in his last season of junior.
The six-foot-three, two-hundred and five pounder has been steady for the AHL's Belleville Senators in his first season of pro hockey. In 56 games the gritty forward has 13 goals and 22 points.
