    Through the first month of the 2023-24 AHL regular season, a slew of rookies have produced at a high level

    The 2023-24 season is only a month and change old, yet we're already seeing rookie stars break away from the herd at the AHL level.

    Quebec native and potential star for the Montreal Canadiens Joshua Roy leads all rookies with 17 points through 13 games. Only a point behind, and leading all rookies with eight goals through 12 games is Texas Stars prospect Logan Stankoven.

    Geography-wise, the great white north seems to be a proving ground for talented upstarts, as Laval and Manitoba each have two of the top 10 rookie point producers.

    Nikita Chibrikov - Manitoba Moose - 10 Games - 2G 9A, 11P

    Brad Lambert - Manitoba Moose - 10 Games - 5G 5A, 10P

    Logan Morrison - Coachella Valley Firebirds - 11 Games, 4G 6A, 10P

    John Farinacci - Providence Bruins, 13 Games, 4G 6A, 10P

    Brandt Clarke - Ontario Reign - 12 Games, 3G 7A, 10P
