Tolopilo has an 18-14-2 record with a .901 SP, 2.68 GAA and four shutouts this season, his second in North America. The 25-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Canucks in March 2023 after spending time with Dinamo Minsk in the KHL and Sodertalje SK in HockeyAllsvenskan. The Minsk, BLR., native has a 38-27-3 record, .903 SP and 2.75 GAA in 69 career AHL appearances. Mueller has 12 goals and 38 points in 62 games with Abbotsford this season, his first as a pro. A fourth round pick of the Canucks in 2023, Mueller notched 31 goals and 64 points in 98 career NCAA games with the University of Nebraska-Omaha and was a Hobey Baker Nominee last season. Both players are seemingly being rewarded for strong AHL seasons after helping the Abbotsford Canucks clinch a Calder Cup Playoff spot. Both will have a chance to make their NHL debuts tonight against the Minnesota Wild. There has been no formal update on injuries but this move is not a good sign for the health of either Thatcher Demko or Kevin Lankinen.
