Wednesday has a decent slate off NHL action that we will look to exploit with a pick we are very confident in. There is little debate over who the best hockey player in the world with Edmonton's Connor McDavid.
The three-time Art Ross trophy winner returns to the lineup Wednesday and will have a favourable matchup versus the Golden Knights. We look to roll with McDavid for the next addition to the Pad Stacking Challenge.
If you aren’t familiar, the Pad Stacking Challenge is an open betting strategy that uses the concept of building our bank and rolling over our profits. We do this by stacking our winnings through well-researched picks given out daily that will hopefully build our bank.
We started off our current run on the right note with a decisive win Tuesday thanks to Connor Hellebuyck and the Winnipeg Jets holding their matchup versus the Utah Hockey Club under six goals. Our current bank total is at $20.

Bet: Connor McDavid anytime goal (+120)
The Oilers captain was expected to make a splash this season when it came to how many goals he was going to score. Some analysts had him projected to come close to the 50-goal mark and if he wants to get close to that, he will need to make up some ground after being out with an ankle injury.
This matchup favors McDavid as he's scored five goals over his last four games versus the Golden Knights, including a pair of assists for six points total.
Both of Vegas' netminders have a goals against average near three which also helps our case. If they decide to go with Adin Hill, he has a goals against average over three in his last five games versus Edmonton.
McDavid should return to the lineup in a big way and if we decide to roll our bank total with him, our new total would jump up to $44 on just our second day.
