The Flyers travel to the Gopher state to play the Wild with both teams looking to improve from recent losing skids

The Broad Street Bullies travel to the Twin Cities to take on the Wild in a tight Friday night matchup with the betting lines dead even. The Wild have struggled with one win in their last seven games but played competitive teams in the Lightning, Flames, Jets and the Stars twice. They will look to bounce back at home, where they are in the bottom half of the league in points with a 10-8-2 record. The Flyers haven’t been so hot as well with three wins in their last ten games but have shown signs of being a contending playoff team this season.

It should be a close game with no team having an edge and gives a perfect opportunity to turn a profit. If you want to make some bets on this game, here are some of our best picks.

All betting lines are from Bet365 and are subject to change. Please gamble responsibly.

Pick: Joel Farabee over 0.5 points (-115)

The Wild have struggled to keep pucks out of their net over the last three weeks with the ninth-most goals with 3.67 per game, which is worse than the Ducks and Canadiens. A red hot Farabee should capitalize and create chances as he has a goal and nine assists in his last nine games. During that span, his passing numbers are tied with the likes of Connor McDavid, William Nylander and ahead of players Cale Makar and Noah Dobson.

Farabee is second on the Flyers in points with 30 in 41 games this season and also plays with Centre Sean Couturier and Winger Travis Konecny, who are first and third on the team in points respectively. His line has generated 43 of the Flyers’ 116 goals this season, which is 37% of the team’s total offense and should give us confidence that if they find a way to put the back of the net, there’s a good chance it’s Farabee and his boys.

Pick: Marc-Andre Fleury over 27.5 saves (-130)

The Flower may have a busy night going against a Flyers offense that is averaging the second-most shots per game in the league (35.9) over the last four weeks. It shouldn’t be too challenging for him as he’s had 25+ saves in 14 of his 19 starts this season with an average of 24.6 saves over his last five starts, which is so close to our number but with the amount of shots the Flyers are taking and how desperate they’ll be playing as they look for their fourth win in their last 11 games.

Pick: Under 6.5 goals (-165)

These two both have miserable offenses as the Wild and Flyers rank 24th and 25th in goals per game this season respectively. They have a history of tight low-scoring games as well with five of their last six games at Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota.

Flyers goalie Carter Hart has also started to get things going between the pipes with a mediocre 4-2-3 record in his last nine starts but 29.8 saves per game average and a 2.85 goals against average, that is better than Tampa’s Andrei Vasilevskiy and reigning Vezina trophy winner Linus Ullmark, during that span.
