Forwards Claude Giroux and Cole Caufield should find the back of the net in tonight's all-Canadian matchup between the Habs and Sens

The Habs take their second game of a back-to-back to the nation’s capital to take on the Senators, who they've lost six straight to. Good news for them is that they do find themselves on a bit of a roll with two straight wins over the Avalanche and Devils and a close one goal loss to the red hot Oilers. They’ve been very feisty lately but will have a tough test winning both games of a back-to-back that is always challenging and doing it against a team they don’t exactly have the best history against.

Only time will tell if the Habs can do it and remain feisty or if they will flame out due to fatigue. If you are interested in watching this game and want to even profit from it, here is our best bet for tonight’s all-Canadian matchup.

Pick: Cole Caufield anytime goal (+145), Claude Giroux anytime goal (+170)

The Senators are top five when it comes to most goals allowed per game with a 3.55 average this season and this should create a great chance for “Goal” Caufield to find the back of the net. He had a slow start to the season but has found his groove as of late with goals in three straight and has a good history versus Ottawa with goals in four of seven career games against the Sens.

This should be a high-scoring game with the Sens rough defense at home coupled with their underrated offense that is tied for ninth in goals per game with a 3.33 average that is tied with the Jets and higher than the Rangers, Bruins and Panthers. People don’t give their offense any respect with Claude Giroux averaging a point per game and forwards Drake Batherson, Tim Stützle and Brady Tkachuk averaging just shy of that. Giroux has also found the net four times in their last six games making him third on the Sens for goals with 13 this season.

He should help push the pace and make the Habs have to fight back to be in this game and they shouldn’t have a problem getting a couple past Joonas Korpisalo, who reps a 3.70 goals against average. He also hasn’t been getting any better lately with a 3-10-0 record in his last 14 appearances with a goals against average just short of four per game. They should get past him easily and make this game high-scoring.
