The Kings ignite ice cold offense in favourable matchup against Alexander Georgiev and help hit their team over

The Kings have turned from one of the league’s best stories with a NHL record 11 straight road wins to start the season, all the way down to one of the coldest teams in the league with two wins in their last 14 games. They’ve managed to grab points in seven of the 14 games but with seven regulation losses they are the third-worst team in the league over their last 14 games with their main problem being scoring as their top six have all gone cold and only average 2.29 goals per game during their rough patch. The Avalanche have been on the other side of things with ten wins in their last 14 games and the league’s best offense during that span with a 4.21 goals per game average.

LA will have to find a way to get back to their winning ways and play good defensively along with coming up with a game plan to get around Cale Makar and the Avalanche’s top end defense. This could be a slaughter or a close exciting matchup and if you wanna watch this one, here is our best bet for the game that should up the excitement and give you a thrill on this Friday night.

Pick: Kings over 2.5 goals (-175)

The Kings are giving you no reason to bet on them to pick things up offensively but they do have to find the back of the net eventually and they matchup nicely against Avalanche expected netminder Alexandar Georgiev, who’s been mediocre despite his team’s hot streak as of late. He let in three or more goals in eight straight starts before his last, when he let in only two against the Capitals.

His relatively poor play has flown under the radar thanks to Nathan MacKinnon destroying opposing defenses with a whopping 11 goals and 24 points in his last 11 games since the start of the new year. He’s been dominating and he will likely help his team get on the board and force the Kings to get more aggressive on offense. It’s always risky betting on a cold offensive team but with their matchup they should find a way to get at least three in a high-scoring game in Denver.
