The Vancouver Canucks have the fifth-best goals per road game average at 3.54 this season

The Vancouver Canucks

Wednesday has a solid five-game slate of NHL action that should excite all hockey fans with several marquee matchups. The Robertson brothers face off in a matchup between two Stanley Cup contenders in the Maple Leafs and Stars while the Panthers take on the Wild in another exciting matchup between serious Cup contenders.

It should be a great night of games and we look to improve on some of our recent hot streaks like our 6-2 record on our last eight picks or our 31-23 record on game total and team unders this season.

Bet: Canucks ML (+100), Canucks Utah HC Over 5.5 goals (-125)

Both the Canucks and Utah HC are starting to heat up with Vancouver going 5-2-2 in their last nine games while Utah has five wins and one regulation loss in their seven games. This should present a stellar matchup that not many may expect.

Utah will look to stay hot offensively with Dylan Guenther gaining heat once again. The 21-year-old Edmonton native leads the team in points with 29 in 30 games this season and lately has continued to pick things up with three goals and six assists for nine points in his last seven games. Utah HC also has started to turn on their offence at home with eight total goals in their last three home games.

Vancouver will also look to roll out their elite offence with captain Quinn Hughes leading things from the backend with a pair of goals and ten assists for 12 points in their last nine games. Most of the passes are finding Jake DeBrusk, who is tied for the second-most goals in the last 19 days with eight over his last nine games.

The Canucks should prevail in this one as their offence excels in this setting with a top five goals per road game average at 3.54 this season. The Utah Hockey Club has also struggled to get wins on home ice with five straight losses in front of their hometown fans.
