New York’s Bo Horvat has six goals and nine points over his last nine games against Chicago as he looks to stay hot

Tuesday has some thrilling matchups for hockey fans with the biggest one being the Predators looking to continue their red hot streak at home when they take on the Bruins while the Islanders look to stay in the playoff picture as they play Chicago and the Ducks look to surprise a Flames team that is leaking goals

It’ll be an eventful night and with so many games to bet on, you’ll want the most chances to make some big time profits. Lucky for you, we’ve hit on our last three Pad Stack Challenge picks and have caught fire once again as we are on a 4-1 run over the last two days.

Bet: Blackhawks Islanders Over 5.5 goals (-135), Bo Horvat anytime goal (+165), Connor Bedard anytime goal (+180)

The Islanders are right on the edge of the playoffs and will have to finish the season off strong if they want a chance to make it. A loss to the second-worst team in the league is certainly something they will want to prevent but these two normally play close games with the Islanders repping a 5-2-3 record over their last ten matchups.

They earned a huge overtime win last night in Philadelphia that should hopefully set the tone for the remainder of the season. Bo Horvat has been setting the tone for New York’s offense with seven goals and 14 points over their last 15 games.

He has a great chance to score against Chicago as they average the ninth-most goals allowed per game with an average of 3.36 which is one spot above the Islanders, who average 3.20 per game to round out the top ten.

Horvat also has six goals and nine points over his last nine career games versus the Blackhawks, dating back to his Vancouver Canuck days. This could be a high-scoring game that the Islanders will likely be at the forefront of but never count out Connor Bedard.

The rookie sensation is still playing at an elite level and has elevated the play of winger Philipp Kurashev with the two combining for 11 goals over their last 14 games.

Bedard has dished the puck for 13 assists during that stretch and hasn’t scored in six games which means he could be due especially with Ilya Sorokin getting the net for New York and has been ice cold with no wins and a goals against average of 3.89 over his last five starts.

Bet: Frank Vatrano Over 0.5 points (-125), Ducks Flames Over 6.0 goals (-120)

The Ducks offense has been the league’s worst since the start of March with a scoring rate of 1.56 goals per game. Their five straight losses have also seen their defense get exposed as well as they were outscored 20 to seven despite some close outcomes against the Lightning and coming back to tie the game versus a tough Canucks team.

In their Canucks loss, the Ducks showed life and a team that desperately wants to end this losing streak will have a chance to get on the board more than once against a Flames team that has seen their defense fall apart.

Calgary averages the second-most goals allowed over their last 14 games at a rate of 3.86 per game. The Ducks are also right behind the Flames averaging 3.81 goals against during that span and could mean another high-scoring affair on the slate.

The Ducks lone All-Star this season, Frank Vatrano, has continued to lead the team with eight goals and 17 points since the All-Star break and has a great history against Calgary with three goals and six points over their last five matchups.

Bet: Gustav Nyquist Over 0.5 points (-150), Predators Over 2.5 goals (-165)

The Predators had finally received all their flowers for their red hot streak since their players trip was denied and was admired by the hockey world for a moment as some said they could be a dark horse team in the playoffs.

They followed this up by allowing eight goals on the road to the Coyotes which snowballed into a 7-4 loss against the Avalanche. The defense allowing 15 goals over a two-game span hadn’t happened for some time and begs the question of if the hot streak is over?

Both losses were on the road and they will get to return home tonight on two days rest to take on a tough Bruins team that is hitting their stride at the right time and taking back the Atlantic Division lead.

The one thing Nashville hasn’t lost is its red hot offense with four goals in each of their two recent losses and should be on display again tonight as they are 7-0-1 and average 4.50 goals over their last eight home games.

This should work in Gustav Nyquist’s favour with the top line winger dominating at home this season with nine goals and 39 points in 37 games.

He also gets to work alongside the red hot Filip Forsberg, who has been a scoring machine for Nashville with 17 goals and 33 points in 23 games since the All-Star break. The two should create at least one of the Predators goals tonight with Nyquist at a much better value.
