Edmonton’s Zach Hyman has seven goals and 13 points in his last seven games against the Senators
Sunday is normally not the busiest day in the hockey world, but we get a rare treat today as the NHL has a loaded slate for its fans with eight exciting matchups to end off the night.
The Leafs and Oilers battled in an exciting Hockey Night in Canada last night and look to keep up the pressure in matchups today as Toronto travels to Carolina while Edmonton travels to the nations capital to take on the Senators.
The night will cap off with the Flames looking to rebound from a loss last night in another tight game against the Sabres, who are heating up as they hunt down a playoff spot.
It’ll be an eventful night and with so many games to bet on, you’ll want the most chances to make some big time profits. Lucky for you, we were a perfect 3-0 last night and look to continue our hot streak of 18-6 record over the past week.

Bet: Zach Hyman anytime goal (+110)
We had praised the Senators earlier this year, for how underrated their offense was compared to the record but as of late we are starting to see the third-worst team in the East come back to earth.
For a good amount of time, the Senators were near the top of the league in offense with a top ten rating in goals per game but haven’t been as dominant as of late with the fourth-lowest goals per game at 2.45 since mid-February.
During that span, they’ve also gone 7-11-2 and have allowed the fourth-most goals with 70 which should make Edmonton the play.
They were dominated for roughly 45 of the games’ 60 minutes against Toronto until they scored their first goal. They took forever to get started but should bounce back in a big way against Ottawa.
Oilers captain Connor McDavid is almost avoiding goals at this point as he added another three assists to his season total last night and could again tonight as he has a great history of dishing the puck in this matchup with 14 assists and 20 points in his last ten games against Ottawa.
Edmonton juggle some lines around in their leafs matchup, but one thing that stayed was Zach Hyman on the teams top line with McDavid. Hyman also dominates in this matchup with seven goals and 13 points in his last seven games against the Senators and should find the back of the net once again thanks to McDavid.
Bet: Maple Leafs Over 2.5 goals (-135)
Toronto is buzzing right now with a huge win over the Oilers that they almost let slip but found a way to escape with the win. Now they go on the road, where they do their best work. Believe it or not, the Leafs are one of the best road teams in the league with a 21-8-6 record that ranks second-best tied with the Rangers.
Toronto does edge out the Rangers in best road offense with the most goals in the league at 128 which is five ahead of New York in second. It’s hard to ignore the hot streak that Carolina is on as they are 14-3-2 in their last 19 games which makes them the second-hottest team in the league since mid-February after the Predators.
It should make for a compelling game and one that Toronto will be in thanks to their offense with three or more goals in eight of their last ten matchups against Carolina. Expect an exciting game with a very high goal total.
Bet: Flames ML (+105), Sabres Flames Over 6.5 goals (-105)
Buffalo is now just seven points behind Detroit for the second East Wild Card spot and the odds aren’t in their favour but with a couple lucky bounces they could still make it which means they will come out hot against Calgary.
These two should make for an exciting matchup as they have identical records since the All-Star break with Buffalo getting a slight edge of more rest thanks to the Flames having played last night.
The Flames have seen their offense surge with a 3.30 goals per game rate over their last 20 games that should push the Sabres, who are top ten in scoring with a 3.36 goals per game average this month. They’ve produced offensive shootouts with their last three games all seeing seven or more goals but the Flames sit with the better record at 7-1-2 over their last ten matchups against Buffalo.
